Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients

FOR THE WINGS

  • 12 wings / drummies
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

FOR THE SAUCE

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup gochujang
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 large clove of garlic minced - see above for using garlic powder instead of fresh.
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger minced / grated - see above for using ginger powder instead of fresh.
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • sesame seeds + green onions for toppings

Instructions

  • Heat air fryer at 400 for a few minutes to heat up.
  • Lay your wings on paper towns and pat *really dry*. The dryer the wing, the crispier she’ll get. Add your wings to a bowl and add in olive oil, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, mix well so they’re completely coated.
  • Add to air fryer (make sure they’re not touching each other or overlapping). Air fry at 400 for 10 minutes, flip and air fry again at 400 for 10 minutes.
  • Every air fryer is going to be different, so continue to do this in 5 minute increments until wings are browned and crispy.
  • While wings are frying, make your sauce - combine olive oil, honey, gochujang paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and water to a large bowl and whisk together.
  • When wings are done, put onto a cooling rack to dry a bit and crisp up. Toss in your honey + gochujang sauce. Place onto a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Enjoy!
